Privacy Policy for Provexa

Provexa is made by Spotlessness LLC. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Provexa app.
The short version: everything you enter into Provexa stays on your phone. There are no accounts, we have no servers storing your data, and we cannot see anything you log.
What Provexa stores
When you use the app, the following is saved on your device:
- Your display name, height, fitness goals, and fitness level
- Workout logs — exercises, sets, reps, weights, cardio distance and time
- Strength records, including bench press personal bests
- Weight log and body measurements (chest, waist, hips, arms, thighs)
- Nutrition and meal logs, including calories and protein
- Sleep hours
- Progress photos you choose to take or add
- Your active training plan, app theme, and a membership number generated on your device
- Any posts you create in the in-app community area
Where it's stored
All of it is kept in your device's own private app storage. Progress photos are saved as image files inside the app's private storage area, which other apps cannot read.
None of this is uploaded, synced, or backed up to us. Spotlessness LLC has no database of Provexa users and no way to retrieve, view, or recover what you have logged.
The in-app community area is local to your device. Posts you write there are stored on your phone and are not sent anywhere or seen by anyone else.
What leaves your device
Very little, and none of it is your personal information:
Fonts. The app loads its typefaces from Google Fonts each time it opens. This is a request for font files. Google may log your IP address as part of serving that request, as they would for any website. No information about you or your activity in the app is included.
Subscription purchases. If you buy a subscription, the purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and validated through RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, plus the purchase receipt from the app store. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, or anything you have logged in the app — the app has no account system and therefore no such identifier to send.
Managing your subscription. If you tap to manage your subscription, the app opens your device's app store in a separate browser or app window. What happens there is governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policies.
What Provexa does not do
- No accounts. There is no sign-up or login. We never ask for your email address, phone number, date of birth, or real name.
- No analytics. The app contains no analytics or crash reporting tools. We do not know how many people use the app, which features they use, or whether it crashes.
- No advertising. There are no ads in Provexa and no advertising software in the app.
- No tracking. Provexa does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not build a profile of you.
- No selling or sharing data. We have no data about you to sell or share.
Camera and photos
If you add progress photos, the app asks for permission to use your camera or photo library. This is used only to capture or select the photos you choose. Photos stay in the app's private storage on your device and are never uploaded.
You can refuse this permission and the rest of the app will work normally.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device. No notification is sent from a server, and enabling them sends no information to us.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app from your device permanently removes everything you have logged, including progress photos. There is no separate deletion request to make — we have nothing to delete on our end.
Please note: since your data is not backed up to us, uninstalling the app or losing your device means the data is gone and cannot be recovered.
Children
Provexa is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app collects no personal identifiers and stores nothing on our servers, we hold no information about any user, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
